IT WOULDN’T BE CHRISTMAS It wouldn’t be Christmas without you I just couldn’t feel merry and bright All the tinsel and Santas and reindeer and snow Can’t make it a magical night ANd loneliness has a new meaning on the happiest night of the year And though Silent Night brings an ache to my heart It’s not Christmas if you’re not here Sure I could string a few lights Even put up a tree But who can sing carols Without harmony It wouldn’t be Christmas without you I just couldn’t feel merry and bright All the tinsel and Santas and reindeer and snow Can’t make it a magical night And loneliness has a new meaning on the happiest night of the year And though Silent Night brings an ache to my heart It’s not Christmas if you’re not here You say we’re both broke So you’ll stay on out there e But if it takes my last dollar I’ll find you the far It wouldn’t be Christmas (etc)
